Roots and Waves Clinical Training Institute is excited to announce an upcoming cruise-based professional training experience designed for counselors and addiction professionals seeking meaningful continuing education in a restorative setting.
This unique program will take place aboard a July 2026 Bermuda cruise, combining structured learning with space for reflection, connection, and professional renewal. Training sessions will be held on select sea and port days to ensure participants have both dedicated instructional time and opportunities to enjoy the cruise experience.
Planned training topics include:
- Implicit Bias & Cultural Humility
- Human Trafficking Awareness
- Ethics in Non-Traditional Experiential Therapy Settings
- Burnout, Compassion Fatigue & Clinician Resilience
- Trauma-Informed Care Across Diagnoses & Settings
- Attachment, Safety & the Therapeutic Relationship
Up to 10 NBCC and 10 NAADAC continuing education hours will be offered pending approval.
Training registration is separate from cruise booking, and participation is limited to maintain an engaging, interactive learning environment.
